Advocacy

The State Public Affairs Committee (SPAC) of the Junior Leagues of New Jersey is a statewide, non-partisan committee comprised of delegates from each of the eight Junior Leagues in New Jersey.   Delegates advocate for initiatives and legislation to strengthen the quality of life for women and children specifically in the areas of substance use, human trafficking, foster care, violence against women and children, childhood nutrition and brain development.

The Junior League is an international organization of civic leaders committed to promoting volunteerism and to improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

In addition to representing the women of the Junior League of New Jersey, SPAC delegates partner with many other organizations to further their reach.  To learn more about the SPAC activities in 2019-20, click here.
